We are passionate about the right of all children to have a high quality education and the role that parents and families can play in this.

Since 1967, we have advocated for:

• the right of all children to receive an excellent education

• the right of parents and carers to choose schools that best meet their children’s and family needs

• fair government funding to support students in non-government (Catholic and Independent) schools as well as government schools

• the right of parents and other primary caregivers to have a voice in education and other issues that affect their children

• the benefits of building the capacity of schools and teachers to reach out to parents and families and create learning partnerships

• the importance of supporting parent and family engagement in children's learning and schooling.
